We started our journey from the West of Turkey

I’ve shared about some travel tips and the transportation expenses in my previous post. You can read it HERE. In this article, i will be sharing all the details of my itinerary. We landed in Istanbul early in the morning and took a transit domestic flight to IZMIR. Once we arrive in IZMIR, we drove all the way down to a town called ALACATI

(TIPS : Try to arrange at least 2-3 hours in the airport for transit upon arrival because the Istanbul airport is really HUGE)

Izmir to Alacati: The closest airport to Alacati is in Izmir – Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (airport code: ADB) – the drive from Izmir to Alacati will take you approximately 50 minutes.

We rent a car from IZMIR ADB airport by AVIS Rental Company thru EXPEDIA. We choose AVIS because they have more option to drop-off the car at different airports. We want to drop our car at DENIZLI airport (Pamukkale) after, so these was the only option we had and it is more reliable cause it is an international car rental company. For the petrol, There are plenty of places to fill up on petrol along the way. So don’t worry about it.

You can check the car rental price from my previous post, click HERE

If you want to experience the seaside holiday in Turkey, Alaçatı is a place you have to visit! There are numerous restored old Greek houses in Alaçatı, that makes the whole town looks like you are in Greece. This town is a hidden gem that you won’t see a lot of Asian tourists around.

Alacati ( Pronounced “Ala-Cha-ti”) It was love at first sight

We walked down to Alacati main street and you will found tiny streets with beautiful stone buildings and there is a lot of nice restaurants, cafes, and antique shops and gift shops. Wandering through the cobblestone streets and checking out the colourful buildings is one of best things to do in Alacati. Take it easy and sip on Turkish coffee during the day and wine at night.

Alacati is the perfect place to get lost in the picturesque streets while doing some shopping, watch the world go by from the terrace of one of the many cafes before having a romantic dinner and heading to your boutique hotel. The best time to visit the main streets is during the golden hour

I use google map to search for all the attractions, cafes and restaurants around.

Walking along the main street and you will get to see the 19th century windmills.
There is no entrance fee and can be visited any time of day.

Ancient stone windmills that sit on top of the hill overlooking the village are Alacati’s symbol. These cute windmills that date to the 1850s are among the oldest structures in the area.

Besides strolling around the Alacati Streets, you can also visit the beach club if you love sun tanning like me. Alacati is located in the centre of Cesme Peninsula, it is surrounded by the water and its beaches are all within easy reach. There are around 50 beach clubs around this city. We managed to visit one of them which is KAFEPI Beach Club

It is less than 10 minute drive from our hotel. The entrance fees is 80TL per pax ( You will get a normal seats, the price is not including the food and drinks) We ordered a beer, a cocktails and fries. It costs us around 100TL if i’m not mistaken..

There are chic boutique hotels and hostels that you can spend a great time at in Alaçatı.
There are many many cute boutique hotels with affordable price, you check them at booking.com or Expedia. I booked my hotel and my parent’s one from Booking.com. Try to find the hotel that are nearer to the main streets of Alacati, so it would be easier for you to explore around.

Transport : For us, we rent a car on the first few days. So it is easier for us to get around.

Im staying at Evliyagil Hotel by Katre, around RM500 per night including breakfast

And my parents one is in Alacati Alaris Hotel. It is around RM200 per night including breakfast
There is still a lot more nice boutique hotel around the area, you guys can check from booking.com.

For me, I think 2D1N is more than enough to spend in Alacati, we drive to Ephesus the next day around 6.30am. Because Ephesus is around 1.30 hours away from Alacati. We wanted to avoid the crowd so we decided to leave early so that we can reach Ephesus at 8AM. Trust me, it is better to visit early in the morning.

I’m a big fans of historical sites. Therefore, Ephesus is a MUST!
The city was once considered the most important Greek city over 2000year and it is the most important trading center in the Mediterranean region. Throughout history, Ephesus survived multiple attacks and changed hands many times between conquerors.

The highlight of Ephesus is the iconic Roman Library of Celsus
The entrance fee is 72TL for the normal ticket.
You can literally walk in the footsteps of ancient Greeks and Romans!
*The whole area is pretty HUGE, you might need to spend at least 2-3 hours there*

As you might see from these photos, the sun shines powerfully down on the reflective white marble of Ephesus, so for summer touring, do bring a hat or sun umbrella.I highly recommend to visit this sites early in the morning. You can also hire a guide to explain the stories behind these magnificent historical sites. You can find them in the entrance, usually they will approach you. Just ask for the price on the spot if you’re interested.

After visiting Ephesus, we went for a Lunch in Selcuk town which is less than 15 mins drive from Ephesus and drive all the way down to Pamukkale. (2.30 hours drive from Ephesus)

Will blog about Pamukkale and Istanbul at my next article
stay tuned! Thank you for reading *xoxo

Feel free to drop a comment if you want to know more about my trip :)

Merhaba! I’m finally back from my 10 days trip in Turkey, a place that i always wanted to visit for years! I’m super excited to finally tick it off my bucket list and i can’t wait to share with guys more about my trip. Hopefully my info helps.

Turkey is home to fairy chimneys and hot air balloons, Roman history and kebabs, a world wonder and 16 UNESCO World Heritage sites! From bustling bazaars and historic sites to stunning landscapes and serene beaches, i am sure there is something for everyone.

Turkey is a huge country. Well, If you are planning to visit Turkey for 7 days, it is totally not enough. Because there are so many amazing sites you cannot miss in Turkey. Here is some typical touristy place you cannot miss ( Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Istanbul ) But if you plan to explore a bit more, you can choose 1/2 more cities for example Izmir or Antalya

*Izmir is more historical sites and Antalya offer beautiful beaches*

For me, my itinerary start from Izmir to Pamukkale to Istanbul to Cappadocia

Initially, I was planning to follow tour with my family and i’ve survey a few different company. Most of them costs around RM5xxx-Rm6xxx  ( not including the Hot Air Balloon Ride) for a 10D8N or 9D6N. But i’ve read thru all the itinerary and i’ve done some research regarding all the places in Turkey before i go. I realised that, following a tour might not cover a lot of the places that i wanted to visit, and you will spend most of time sitting in the bus traveling from place to place . And, the hotel and food might not as good if you following tour. The time you spend in the attraction is limited, you might not have enough time to explore on your own.

So i decided to plan my own trip. At least, i can make full use of my time. Take my own pace, travel to wherever i wanted to do, stay as long as i want.

Free and easy, I personally think it is more comfortable to travel like that :)

Of course, you need to plan well. Here’s some of my itinerary for your references. You don’t have to follow 100% of my itinerary, you can just customise your own according to your preferences. It is  much depending on the places you wish to visit and the activities you want to indulge in

I received plenty of DMs asking about the budget of entire trip. Hahaha. Since, everyone is more concern about the money i have spent, So i’m going to share some breakdown of the expenses.

We booked our flight 1 month before the trip and we chose a direct flight because it is more comfortable to travel. So far, only Turkish Airlines provide direct flights to Turkey. The flight duration is around 11 hours. My flight tickets is RM3250 per pax including 30kg of luggage.

After i arrived in Turkey, i travel from place to place thru internal domestic flight.
First Stop - Izmir ( ISTANBUL to IZMIR) RM140 per pax

Then we rent a car in IZMIR to travel down to a small town called ALACATI
CAR RENTAL using AVIS which costs around RM1300 for 3 days of usage and we dropped the car at different state - DENIZLI ( Pamukkale )
*the price is much depending on what car you rent*

Then we took a flight from DENIZLI to ISTANBUL RM110 per pax

Stay two days in Istanbul, then fly to KAYSERI (CAPPADOCIA) RM268 per pax
Spent 3 nights in Cappadocia and fly back to ISTANBUL RM268 per pax and back KL

In Cappadocia, we also rent a car for a day which costs around RM150 per day

For international flight + domestic flights, we spent around RM4100 per pax

*All the internal flight duration is around 1 hour*

Of course, if you want to budget your trip, you can skip some of the domestic flight and take the overnight shuttle bus from place to place. But it would be tiring, i wouldn’t recommend that.

TIPS : For the international flight and car rental, you can book everything through Expedia or from their official websites. It is more reliable. While for the domestic flight, you can just check Turkish Airlines websites for the time and prices.

Also, please be aware of Turkish Airlines is NOT ALLOWED to do name amendment if there is an error on your name for the flight ticket. So, please DOUBLE TRIPLE check before you purchase a ticket. I believe that most of you that followed my IG stories know about this scenario that i’ve faced. I actually purchased a new flight ticket before i fly to avoid any hassle. It was a really bad experience with the ground crew and the customer service but i don’t meant to criticise about the whole airlines as i met some nice cabin crew during the flight. So i will skip this part.

Meanwhile, getting around in Turkey with their transportation access is easy. You can get around with flight, shuttle bus, and taxi. In Istanbul city, you can just take a taxi, metro or tram to get around. While in those suburb area, i would recommend you to rent a car.

Spring and autumn, from April to May and from September to mid November respectively, are the ideal times to visit Istanbul when temperatures are pleasant and the skies are clearer

Although the weather is chilly, but the sun can be really hot in the afternoon.
Remember to bring sunscreen, and lotion as the weather is really dry.

- There is no need VISA application for Malaysian to visit Turkey, so don’t worry about that

-Remember to bring at least one pair of sport shoes because the road is really bumpy and you are require to walk a lot a lot a lot in Turkey. It is more comfortable to walk with a good walking shoes.

-Be extra alert when you travel in Turkey. Whenever you make payment, please ensure to check your loose change from the person you paid to. Especially on the taxi. Because a lot of my friend had bad experience with it. So just be careful with that.

You can either get a local sim card or rent a portable wifi that can share up to 5 people.

For portable wifi, it is RM27 and 500MB per day.

You can just book it online ( TRAVEL RECOMMENDS ) and collect it at your departure airport.

While, for local sims. We chose Turkcell which costs around 150TL for 200 mins of call and 20GB data. Apparently it is the cheapest local sim packages compare to other brand.

Overall, the flight + hotels, we spent around approximately RM5900 per pax
Not including the car rentals, the tours, the food expenses and hot air balloon ride.

I will share about the details part of itinerary and the price for each activities on the next post,

I'm sure most of you all know that i've been with Rachel Chew Clinic for more than 5 years already. For lasers treatment, facial treatment, botox and fillers treatment. The reason why they had all my trust is because Dr.Rachel always know what suits me best. Especially when it comes to aesthetics treatment, she is really good at it, because she is good in customise your face structure for different individual. Unlike many doctors out there who only helped their patient to do BIGGER EYES, SMALLER EYES, THICKER LIPS, HIGHER NOSE BRIDGE. Because in the end of the day, its not about having the sharpest feature, BUT to have the feature that fits your face BEST.

As we aged, our face tend to lose the collagen and the contour of our face might change to be more sunken and saggy as time goes by. That’s the reason why, i always feel like my face looks tired no matter how many sleep i gets, i will never get the youthful looking and less tired eyes.

Therefore, i told Dr.Rachel about my concern regarding my face shape and tired looking face. At first, i thought that what i need is BOTOX  but i was wrong. She advised me to do fillers instead to enhance the overall face shape without using any single BOTOX on my face.

Here’s some BEFORE and AFTER results
Love it when i can have higher cheek bones and slimmer face at the same time.
Never thought that fillers can also make my face look slimmer and sharper
Well...Now you know, not only BOTOX can make your face slimmer. Fillers can do better.
I’m pretty satisfy with the results
Thank you Dr.Rachel once again for fixing my needs.

I know there is a lot of aesthetics treatment all around. Nowadays, People aiming for bigger eyes, sharper face, taller nose and thicker lips etc. But for me, it is not just about having the same typical features to define your beauty. It is more important to be the better version of yourself. Everyone has different facial features, it is really hard to advice what treatment you need to undergoes. At the end of the day, It is all about the ratio proportion of each individual face to create a more natural looking face without going under the knife. In Rachel Chew Clinic, they aimed to enhance your face accordingly to everyone needs.

One of the great things about dermal fillers are that they work great and the results are instantaneous. I chose to do fillers instead anything else because it gives the most NATURAL results, and also, there's NO DOWN TIME (you can still put on makeup and go out as usual), the results is INSTANT. You can see the results right after the treatment is done.

It's not permanent, fillers last for 8-24 months. Depending on individual & brands of fillers.
The brands i'm using for my fillers is Juvederm and for my Botulinum Toxin (botox) is Allergan. These two are FDA approved so there is no side effect. Botox last 6-8 months.

Last but not least, as i always mentioned in the past few articles, look for the reliable doctor with licensed and great experiences. Do not simply look for uncertified beautician for aesthetic injection. No matter how cheap the price can be. it is not worthy to risk your life on it.

Love yourself, find the right and trustable one!

This early March, i flew all the way to Taipei to attend one of my favourite skin care brand launch. Yes, you are right. It is Taiwan’s NO.1 Clinical Skincare DR.WU, the leading medical skincare brand in Taiwan was founded in 2003 by the renowned dermatologist Dr. Ying-Chin Wu and his eldest son Eric Wu. It is an honoured to meet both of them in person during this trip.

What do i like about DR.WU?

DR.WU is a technologically-advanced skincare line of high potency products for sensitive skin. It is suitable for ASIAN skin, and the skincare itself is like having a doctor perform medical treatments at home, maintaining a perfect complexion through the most simple yet effect ways. Their philosophy behind their work is to bring about non-surgical solutions in enhancing one’s beauty and wellness

We all know,  there is so many skincare brands out there in the market, what makes one truly stand out and triumph?

Well, for any girl who doesn't know much about skincare, the safest bet you can choose is a brand that has gone through multiple research, is made of premium ingredients and has included patented ingredients & technologies. A clinical brand is definitely something that can easily achieve the aforementioned qualities, and one of them is none other than DR. WU skincare, Taiwan’s No. 1 clinical skincare brand.

This round, they have come out with a whole new whitening series which known as :
Dr.Wu Glutalight Whitening Series

This Glutalight Whitening Series is to target dull and uneven skin tone with the new formula called ‘GLUTALIGHT’

Glutalight, which simulate the formulation of whitening injection: Using Glutathione as its main ingredient, pairing with AA2G, Silybum Marianum extract, VitaminB3,B5,B6,and micro molecule hyapluronicacid, can  successfully avoid, restrain, and recover  melanin. Reaching the effect of Whitening, Brightening, Clearness, Tenderness, and Even Skintone. In addition, without any sensitising or photosensitive ingredients, it is perfectly safe for sensitive skin, even after aesthetic medicine.

The product that i’ve review including :

after cleansing your face...

This is suitable for ALL SKIN TYPE. GlutalightFormula, simulating whitening injection: Glutathione pair with AA2G, SilybumMarianumextract, Vitamin B3, B5, B6, and micro molecule hyaluronic acid can reach the whitening effect quickly, and long-lasting. Contains Allantoin, keeping your skin soothe, hydrated, and anti-inflammatory. It helps to give a naturally radiant skin

This Serum has the highest concentration  of whitening ingredients, solve all the Melanin issues at once. Reduce dark spots, create even skin tone, and illuminate face. This is best for dull and uneven skin tone. The ingredients itself also help to effectively stimulate anti-oxidant activity, hydrate, restore elasticity of your skin

Lightweight creamy texture, easy to absorb, hydrating but without the sticky feeling. Not only whitening, but also moisturizing, and repair your skin. It helps to make the skin smooth, radiant and soft at the same time. It contains no photosensitive ingredients, and can be used during the day

This is unlike all the eye serum i’ve tried before. The texture is like gel. Super light weight texture.
It is non greasy at all and absorb really quick to my skin. It helps to solve the issue of dullness, dark circle, and effectively lightening and tighten the skin under the eyes.

This is suitable for normal and sensitive skin. I apply this everyday before i go out. As we all know, sunscreen is really important to protect our skin from damage. I’m super picky when it comes to sunscreen because i don’t like it to be sticky and too heavy on my skin. I prefer something matte, moisture and light finishing. One of the most comfortable sunscreen that i’ve tried!

The one i’m using is the Tinted  version  contains  mineral  powder,  can  brighten  skin  tone.  Especially  suitable  for  dull  and uneven skintone, can also be used as primer.
This is what i usually just apply when i go to exercise.

Feedback :  I’m not a person who will go for whitening range when it comes to skin care because i have acne problem, sensitive skin and i have combination skin type. So it is not a good idea to use whitening range because normally whitening range will make our skin even more dry. Along the way, skin is a but dull and uneven tone. Also, the acne scars spot may also seems to be darker and more obvious if i didn’t apply any whitening to help.

But I’m glad i give it a try to this Dr.Wu Glutalight Whitening Series, it is super light weight and not greasy at all. Most of the time, i use it during day time and continue with hydrating series at night.  After using for a month, my skin actually become brighter and some of my acne scars spot is slightly brighter compare to last time. I’m pretty satisfy with the results.

FYI, Dr.Wu Glutalight Whitening Series will be launching in Malaysia this coming MAY!
You can find it in any WATSON store in Malaysia

There is no smell I love waking up to more than a cup of strong & smooth coffee.

To be honest, i can’t get my day start without drinking a cup of coffee. Most of the day, coffee is the only thing that can wakes me up and feeling like I can accomplish my dreams and goals.
It gives me the boost I need to stay focused and energised at work and also at the gym. It keeps me the fuel for the rest of the day. That’s the reason why i need it everyday. But drinking coffee everyday might cost me a lot of money. That’s the reason why, sometimes i enjoy making my instant coffee at home. It is much easier, faster and affordable.
Experience the royal way of life in Jaipur. From fine cuisine to distinct architecture, the hospitality of the people is as warm as the blush hues that embrace the cityscape! Jaipur is truly a gem.
Finally have time to continue my PART 2. If you haven’t read my previous post, you can read it HERE. After Delhi we headed for Jaipur, The pink city of Rajasthan. Everything is photogenic in Jaipur. Here’s some best place to visit in Jaipur.

India is always on top of my bucket list and i finally tick it off the list!

Do things that we love is really important. For me, it is always traveling, exploring new places and different culture. This trip is truly amazing. Before i go, I knew that this trip would touch me in a different way. Compared to the countries that we have been to before, India was different, architecturally and culturally. I can’t wait to share my full itinerary and travel experience with you guys!

Before i go to India, i received a lot of DMs and message telling me that how dangerous the country is. In fact, it is not as scary as i thought, the people there is really nice and friendly. Trust me, India is just too pretty to be scared of visiting. Well, to be honest i’m glad i made it. It is like a dream come true to visit India for me.

Out of so many places in India, we decided to cover Jaipur and New Delhi for our first visit. So basically, It is a 7D6N trip for us to explore Jaipur and New Delhi. Yes, i’m traveling with one girl and it is totally SAFE! The whole trip ( Flight + Accommodation is approximately RM2500 per pax )
How times flies, can’t believe it has been a year since my last visit to Melbourne last winter. It is the time of the year again. Melbourne is truly amazing. I miss the weather, the food, the views, everything in Melbourne so much. If you're thinking about the best time to visit Melbourne for a holiday, winter is the best time to visit. If you are planning to visit Melbourne during winter, it starts from June to end of August. September is pretty chilly.

Melbourne is a fantastic base of some of the best destinations for skiing and snowboarding in Australia. Of course, there are plenty of alpine region to escape from the city. The Melbourne’s snowfield including Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Fall Creeks. I’m glad i managed to visit Mt Buller and did my first snowboard in Mount Buller last year, it was really awesome. There are many more to see. wish i can have a chance to explore more next time

With temperatures ranging between 7°C to 17°C during their winter season, it is ideal for those who hate freezing wind because it is not TOO COLD in Melbourne’s Snowfields. The weather is just nice.

In Melbourne snowfields, you can travel up to Mount Buller/Mt Hotham/Fall Creeks the mountains outside of Melbourne to enjoy your winter vacation.

Well, Mt Buller is the most popular destination and is the most accessible major snow resort in Australia. It is around 246km from Melbourne city, it took us around 3 hours drive to get there from the airport. It is better to have 1-2N stay in snowfields for a magical experience. There are many activities to do there, including :

One of the highlight of my previous trip was probably the Husky Sled Dog Tour.
I never thought that it is available in Melbourne.
This was definitely a memorable and once in a lifetime experience for me

The ride itself might only have been 10 minutes long, but it was a truly enchanting experience - one that no adjectives can quite do justice to. This once in a lifetime adventure is something that any visitor to Mt Buller should definitely check out.

Price: $195 per person, discounted rate of $600 for families of 4
Times: 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm daily

#2 Snow Sledding

Some fun physical activities for children during the winter include going sledding, helping to shovel snow or building a snow fort or snowman. Looking for fun winter activities to do with the kids this season? Sledding is one of the easiest snow-day experiences to learn. If skiing and snowboarding is not your thing, maybe you can try snow sledding because it is quite fun too.

#3 Ski and Snowboard

Most of the resorts, they provide ski and snowboard lessons. Therefore, don’t worry if you are a first timer. They got your back! Besides, You can even rent everything there, all the equipment that needed from top to toes.
Awwww, i miss snowboard so much! Bring me back

#4 Ski Lifts

After skiing, I recommend getting on the chair lift and enjoyed the views of the snowfields.

Overall, my trip was much enjoyable and memorable. Trust me, from short trips to week-long holidays in the mountains, Victoria's snowfields are a great place for the whole family.

Last but not least, here a travel vlog of Melbourne during my last visit

Welcome back! Here is my PART 2 for my 9D8N in Japan. If you haven’t read the part 1, make sure you read it before continue reading this. As i mentioned earlier, there is so much to see and do in Japan. This post is all about introducing Shirakawa-go, Nanto-City, and Kanazawa.
Well, Shirakawa-go has became one of the favourite tourist destination lately.

Shirakawa-go is located in Shirakawa in Gifu Prefecture, whilst Gokayama is in Nanto in Toyama Prefecture — however, both are neighboring one another as they lie in the remote Shogawa River Valley. According to UNESCO, what makes these villages special is that they are “outstanding examples of the traditional way of life perfectly adapted to the environment and people’s social and economic circumstances.”
