2014 body progress

You know how much i miss this body? Well, It was few months ago, last year. But still, it's not my stopping point. I'm not satisfy with this, i want something more. For me, being FIT is a long road, i don't do it just for certain occasions. YES, I'm totally addicted to gym, workout gives me so much positive energy (in real life, i'm a negative and low self-esteem person)...Maybe i've slack, maybe i'm not doing good, maybe no ones bother about me/ my body..but I will not give up not matter how slow/ how LOST i am…I know i will find myself back someday :)

Don't get me wrong, i still go to the gym nowadays. It's just that..i seldom selfie in the gym, seldom take photo and upload about my workout routine like last time. LOL! IDIDNTGIVEUP. I'm just STRESSSSSSS, really really stress when it came to blogging. (my fitness blog). My friends asked me to stop blogging because they don't want me to stress myself all the time..BUT.. You know what, getting a fitness blog, sharing all the fitness tips is one of my passion, and i really want to do it well. For me, it's something to achieve. There's a second I thought of giving up, but deep inside my heart i didn't want to! I lose my motivations to blog when nobody reads. Yes, I do feel demotivated sometimes, but whenever i feel that way.. i will just reread my old articles and read all the comments that my readers left. It keeps my fire burning. You don't know how much a "support" means to a blogger. 

Yes, i'm not a professional writer or instructor. But i did use all my efforts to try all the ways (to find the effective ways), to collect all the knowledge and share it on my blog. I don't expect everyone to read, i just hope that someone out there will appreciate what i do. Because i wish there's someone like this to help & guide me too when i'm lost..That's it. LOL

I feel very upset for the pass few months, i gave up on eating clean. I ATE EVERYTHING
All the unhealthy food, all the things that i don't dare to eat..especially desserts! Magnum ice cream is one of my favorite, i can eat 3 magnum in a day, no joke.. hahahaha! So i guess that's the reason of why my fat percentages increase. From 17% to 19.7% right now.
My weight, from 43kg to 48kg. LOL
2014' JANUARY
Okay, I'm not fat, i didn't complain that i am. You can see..obviously my stomach become more bloated especially the lower part. It's like cover up with a layer of fats + water. The main reason is because of my poor eating habits, poor metabolic rate ( i never eat on time, i skipped my breakfast), too much liquid and sugar in the pass few months. SO WRONGGGG... i know!
But luckily i've got my mind backing on track right now. I know i can do it !

Start drinking protein & I go to the gym more often right now, like last time. 
15-30 mins of HIT cardio training /RPM class every time before or after lifting to cut down my fats.
2014' FEB
Okay, what i want ? I want a defined ABS! I aimed for it! I always wanted to built more muscles on my abs. It's not easy, but it's possible! The key is living a lifestyle that combines good nutrition, exercise, when combined over time, melts away the layer of fat covering the core. Once this fat is reduced, you'll begin to see the muscle definition. I will do whatever it takes to achieve my goal. 

I WILL WORK HARD FOR IT! 
只想让你们知道,我也是普通人,我也有想放弃的念头,我也有低落的时候。
但是我不是一个容易放弃的人,要的东西就要付出努力去争取,这样才不会让自己后悔。

所以我又回来了!哈哈哈!
再向目标迈进,一起努力吧!

  10. Hey don't beat yourself up! Can't help it when Malaysia celebrates so many festival towards year end such as Christmas, New Year & Chinese New Year! (Also Valentine's Day!!!) So yeah, it's ok to indulge in a little once awhile ;)

Karen, i've been in competitive swimming and fitness for a long time now. my phd work is also to some extent partially on such mechanics. looks like you re having a fitness block. this will differentiate the girls and the women. What you need to do now is to diversify your fitness portfolio. yes, looking , feeling and being fit , healthy and all is the in thing right now. but as with all things in life (esp presentations ! haha) monotonous routines can lead to premature fatigue (even super buildings ! haha) So time to change your routine and environment (go out, go jogging, find a jog partner, go hiking, pick up swimming (excellent for core btw , if done properly..the myth that you hear that swimming makes u fatter , incrase appetite, decrease metabolism post workout come from ppl who do not know how to utilize the sport as a workout. take it from someone who s been in the water for nearly two decades. and of course, time to join mass events. like , say, 7 km night runs, (so many in kl ! haha ) and then move on to 10km , and then to 15km and then to 21km and then to marathons! ultramarathons! climatons ! swimmatons ! *yes , swimming cross channel seas. all these will fuel your fire for many many years to come. =) all the best Karen.

Motivated by your blog posts last time and started exercising for around 2 mths ( and yes i saw some result - my body fats reduce , and the feeling is really great! ) but thn I've stop exercising mths ago, and i feel lacking of confidence with my own body now. *consequence of eating all the unhealthy food+not exercising*

    Always wanted to get back to the gym on the next day, but failed, it's really really difficult to find back the passion after stopping for so long :(

    Now, after reading this post, I hope i can get back my passion and motivation to start going gym again!
    And.. tq for writing all these blog posts, u're my inspiration :)

    就像你说的有的人会很容易就想要放弃。。也很不幸的,是那种坚持一段时间后就会放弃的那种。。

    新年Cheat Meal/Day 后,我就不停的继续Cheat Meal。。无法控制我自己的嘴巴。。到了Gym Center,会全身没力。。无法继续做下去。。也不懂怎么会这样。。

    所以我希望向你学习,Dont Give Up!!

  19. I think the most difficult part when it comes to fitness is getting started. It's great that you kickstart it again and keep it up. I believe that blogging helps to push others and oneself to go forward! Keep it up! and you already got quite a good shape! :-)

      Do some weight lifting after cardio session :)
