Places to go in HK

22 July 2016

Hello, HONG KONG!
I'm back to this city for the sixth time this round. Hong Kong is a busy city. If you are a city girl/boy, you will definitely love this place! It is so much to do here, it is really headache about where to start in order get the most out of the trip. For me, i love to shop during my trip. That's the reason why, it is a MUST to do some shopping! I've been to most of the common shopping district in HK. So this time, i decided to explore some new places and guess what i've found? SOLO Mall. Basically, It is a unique concept building with a lot of shop lots.

There are six SOLO Malls in Hong Kong. They are in Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, Sai Wan, North Point and Aberdeen. The one we went is in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Meet my travel buddies - Tzia, Stephy, Yours Truly and Adele

SOLO Mall is also shopping paradise for shoppers. From clothing, accessories, shoes, facial, nail beauty, food products, Sneakers, toy collection, tattoo etc.

It is all small shops. Basically, the idea is for young entrepreneurs to have their own shop without spending too much on the rental. As we all know, rental in HK can be really expensive. So, this is definitely a good choice for business starter who seek for low cost rental from around HKD10k per month. Check it out!

How to get there : MRT Tsim Sha Tsui station and exit A2.

Address: Solo Mall Tsim Sha Tsui 4/f, solo building,
41-43 carnarvon road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

#2 DRAGON CENTRE MALL, SHAM SHUI PO 西九龍中心

If you want to blend in to the locals, this is a place you should visit because it is less touristy. Dragon Centre Mall is a nine-storey shopping centre in the Sham Shui Po area of Kowloon, Hong Kong.
It was the largest shopping centre in West Kowloon. It is also one of the largest shopping malls in Hong Kong and expect to spend hours to eat, play and shop.

Check it out if you're around Sham Shui Po area.
It is combination of boutiques, accessories shops, ice skating rink, arcade centre, cafes, restaurants, food court and supermart. We went to the arcade centre on the top.
The must-visit place in Dragon Centre. To us, this is definitely a good place to release stress. We had so much fun and it reminds me so much of my high school. Basketball is one of my favourite games to play! Trying so hard to beats the high score with Stephy. Hahaha.
After that, we went down to do some shopping. There is so many things to discover. Especially the 5th-7th floors ( Apple Mall ) Apparently, most of the stuff are quite unique and the price are super affordable. It is like our Sungei Wang and Times Square in Malaysia.

How to get there : Sham Shui Po MTR station, exit C1

Address : 37K Yen Chow St, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
