staying in HOMEAWAY SG

Another short getaway to Singapore with my friends. Basically it’s for the music festival and also most importantly the crazy sale in Singapore on JUNE! Yay! Another shopping trip for us.   

I’ve heard about HomeAway many times, but haven’t gotten around to using it until my recent trip to Singapore. If you’re unfamiliar with the site, basically HomeAway is a platform where allows you to choose from many vacation houses that accommodate your entire family or travel squad during travel. Apparently, compare to others hotel booking, HomeAway is more economical and more spacious. 

As we all knows, Hotel in Singapore can be really expensive. Since, i’m travelling with a group of friends so I decided it would be better to rent a bigger apartment where can all stay together in one roof. It provides more space and privacy to truly bond with your travel partner. Hence, the perfect place is HomeAway! HomeAway

You can search by map or by list, and can filter by price, housing type and amenities according to your needs. The properties available in pretty much all major cities around the world.

OUR STAY 

Spacious lofted penthouse. Love the big window where we can enjoy the panoramic city views.  The upper level houses a mastersuite. The lower level houses bedroom 2 & 3, bathroom, living & dinning areas, kitchen, hallway and balcony. Everything is well decorated and most importantly CLEAN.

The reason why i prefer HomeAway over hotel is you can get to spend more time together during the vacation. Especially when you travel with group of friends and family, it is much better to just rent a house than a few hotel rooms.

As you can see, the apartment is super spacious! Even if you are lazy to go out or just want to chill at your stay after a long day of tour, you can still do that because there are plenty of spaces! 

There is also wifi for us to stay connected all time. 

There is also a kitchen in the apartment where you can find everything you need inside including a washing machine for us to clean our clothes.

The host is really thoughtful ! Everything well prepared for us to explore what’s around us.

LOCATION 

The location of the apartment is super convenient too! It is located at the centre of the city, nearby the famous Newton food court. ( Around 2km away) Also, there’s three shopping mall right opposite our stays! (United Square, Velocity and Novena Square)  If you plan to go around, the MRT station ( Novena Station) is very near too, just 300m away! Everything is just walk distance.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfy with my stays and it is really worth my money. You have the whole place to yourself and loved ones for the entire duration of your stay. Will definitely book HomeAway again on my next upcoming trip!
